Kim Thayil ( SOUNDGARDEN ), Krist Novoselic ( NIRVANA ) y Matt Cameron ( PEARL JAM ), formaron un nuevo supergrupo llamado 3RD SECRET y sorprendentemente lanzaron el álbum debut homónimo.
La formación la completan Bubba Dupree ( guitarrista de DC VOID ) y las cantantes Jennifer Johnson y Jillian Raye (que toca en GIANTS IN THE TREES junto a Novoselic ).
El disco fue producido en Seattle por Jack Endino .
